Boxing Day Fire In Western N.B.

The holidays have turned tragic for a family after a fire destroyed their home just outside of Florenceville-Bristol.

The Canadian Red Cross says fire crews were called to the home in Greenfield on Wednesday evening.

A mother and her 21-year-old daughter, who were away at the time, were not hurt and are staying with relatives for now.

The Red Cross has provided the pair with winter clothing, food and other basics.
