The sound of cheers, claps and car horns filling in the air in Grand Bay-Westfield with the campaign office for the Kings Centre Liberal candidate officially opening.
Shannon Merrifield is the co-founder of Fusion and former owner and operator of Handworks Galley and says while she’s new to politics as a candidate, she’s spent a lot of time in the political arena as a small-business owner through working with different types of people trying to get a collaborative approach.
She says jobs are the number one priority for the area, and from what she’s hearing, people in the riding are concerned over the state of New Brunswick and ready to make a change.
