Apparently swimming 30 kilometres across the Northumberland Strait and back again isn’t enough for a Vancouver man.
Jeremy Davidson just completed the 16-hour and 15-minute swim on Saturday and already has set his sights on a three point swim from New Brunswick to P-E-I and then to Nova Scotia next year.
The Canadian Forces member serving at C-B Gagetown says the swim is definitely physically challenging, but also takes a lot of mental stamina too.
Davidson says his inspiration continues to be his father who suffers from a severe form of arthritis.
He says he’s also raising money and awareness for the Neil Squire Society…a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities return to the workforce.
