Canada Reject Trump’s Criticism Of Dairy Industry

President Donald Trump is criticising the tightly regulated dairy industry in Canada with it supply management system as being unfair to American dairy farmers in Wisconsin.

The Senior Deputy Governor at the Bank of Canada, Carolyn Wilkins says there’s still a lot of uncertainty what the U.S. will do on cross border trade and NAFTA but she warns the possible outcomes for Canada are negative.

The Bank of Canada is projecting an economic growth rate of two per cent for the remainder of this year and under 2 per cent next year as well as in 2019.

Wilkins says businesses are more confident but remain warn and are not investing as much as they could to fuel more economic growth.
