The ice storm in New Brunswick, which has created so much havoc, is an example of extreme weather according to Premier Brian Gallant.
A new study from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the U.S claims we’ll be getting more mild weather days because of climate change.
It predicts people living in communities along the border between Canada and the Northeastern U.S. will see from 10 to 15 days more each year of mild weather by the end of the 21st century.
The study warns summers will become increasingly hot and humid but winters will turn warmer and the shoulder seasons will be longer.
