So, we just learned that a Swedish soccer fan set a new Guinness World Record by keeping a ball in the air for an astonishing 28 hours, 21 minutes and 2 seconds! AND, using only his knees, chest, head and feet. Daniel Yaakob achieved the feat (without his feet) at a sports complex in Linköping, Sweden. The rules allowing him a 15-minute break every 3 hours and he was able to beat the previous record of 26 hours, set back in 2010.
Daniel says he hopes the record will inspire kids to push their limits and use social media for good news, like highlighting positive achievements.
by the way, in Sweden, the game is also known as “kick-ups” or “Keepie-Uppies” (oh, you know this spring at the kids Timbits soccer practice, you’re gonna be saying “Keepie-Uppie!”
