Covered Bridge Potato Chips Receives Financial Boost

A major financial investment for the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company.

The provincial and federal governments announced this week, $867, 000 for the company, to allow for a 9,000 square foot expansion.

Company President Ryan Albright says “This expansion is another step for us in our efforts to build a more efficient platform for the future growth of the company. and the new space will allow us to add more cooking space and introduce a new product line.”

The potato chip company was established in 2009, with only 3 employees. Since then, it has grown to employ almost 100 people in Carleton County.
