Customers Are Rolling Up For Delish Gourmet Rolled Ice Cream

Delish Gourmet Rolled Ice Cream’s second location is officially open at 120 Prince William Street in uptown Saint John.

“We were waiting for this for a long time and it’s something that we’ve been working towards – we’re finally here and finally open and people, people seem to be really happy,” says owner Alex Gallant.

Gallant and his wife started up their rolled ice cream truck in the mid-2010s originally to raise money for medical school in the Caribbean.

However, they quickly pivoted to opening up a permanent Fredericton location once they saw how business was booming.

Gallant says they are very local-oriented and had always planned to expand to Saint John when they opened the initial shop.

“We’re New Brunswick-owned and operated,” he said. “We use local dairy and it’s 100-per cent made from scratch, fresh handmade ice cream.”
