The Army is coming to help with the power outages in Northeastern New Brunswick.
More than 21 thousand homes and businesses remain without power six days after an ice storm, mostly on the Acadian Peninsula. There are a reported 19 hundred plus outages.
Premier Brian Gallant says from 100 to 150 troops will be arriving today and part of their job will be to clear away debris. He describes the damage as more extensive than first thought.
Anywhere from 350 to 400 hydro poles have to be replaced.
31 people are being treated in hospital for carbon monoxide. 2 people have died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
