Dieticians Encouraging You To Re-Examine Your Workplace Eating Habits

When the phone is ringing off the hook and the paperwork piling up the very last thing many of us are thinking about is eating healthy.

But dieticians are challenging us to re-examine that mindset this Nutrition Month which is themed Healthy Eating 9 to 5.

Registered Dietician with Atlantic Superstore Vanessa Yurchesyn tells us making breakfast ahead of time is a good idea, saying almost 40-percent of us skip breakfast. When it comes to lunch, Yurchesyn says we also need to be thinking outside of the lunch box and reinventing leftovers.

She says a survey conducted last year found 45-percent of us say eating healthy meals and snacks at work is challenging.
