Encouraging Literacy Through Summer Reading In NB

Do your kids love to read?

They have the chance to now register for the 2017 Young Summer Reading Club.

It is held at New Brunswick’s public libraries in June, July and August.

This year’s theme is Canada 150, and the slogan is Celebrate!

Registration is now open at all public libraries and on the Summer Reading Club website.

This is a program that has been running since 1991 and promotes literacy in the province.

Last year, over 11, 000 children took part, and over 291, 000 books were read.
