It’s a big announcement for the folks looking to establish a Child Advocacy Centre for the Sussex to St. Stephen corridor.
Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long was on hand Friday at Family Plus at 199 Chesley Drive to announce this special funding.

Norm Bosse, the Child and Youth Advocate for the province was also on hand and says this is really needed.
“The state of the child report the last two years, we know that the numbers of abuse of children in Saint John area are the highest in the province and some of the highest numbers in Canada.” says Bosse.
