City fire crews had to force their way in to New System Laundry on Lansdowne Avenue shortly after 11:30 last night where they found heavy smoke from a fire in a commercial dryer.
The sprinkler system activated which prevented the fire from spreading.
The building had to be ventilated because there was so much smoke.
