A fire breaking out in the north end around 4:30 this morning at 61 Spring Street.
Flames could be seen from the top floor of a three storey building, spreading into the roof.
The fire department did a search of the building and everyone got out safely.
Nearby buildings have been evacuated and a City Transit bus called in to accomodate the evacuees.
