The future of Saint John Pride Week this year remains undecided after a special meeting was held last night.
It was called after Saint John Pride announced January 22nd on its Facebook page, the events would be cancelled because of a lack of interest and support from the G-B-L-T community. Not enough volunteers were coming forward.
An apology has now been issued for the tone and wording of that posting.
It was also decided the current executive committee will step down and a new election will be held February 26th.
