Gasoline Prices Up, Diesel Prices Fall

Mixed news at the fuel pumps depending on what you need to buy.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is just over $2.11 per litre.

That is an increase of around three cents after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel prices fell by just under a cent overnight to a new maximum of more than $2.14 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, the new maximum price of heating oil is just over $1.93 per litre, a drop of less than a cent.

Propane prices fell by just over a cent to a new maximum of nearly $1.26 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
