Another hat has been thrown into the ring in the riding of Saint John Harbour—Wayne Dryer has been announced as the Green Party candidate.
He says the riding is a mixed one with a lot of people with strong incomes and a lot of people on social assistance and he would like to see the interests of the lower-income levels get represented in discussions in Fredericton. He says the only future we seem to be able to imagine is one with large economic projects like forestry and shale gas adding it is possible to create an economy that represents a better integration of province’s resources.
Dryer is a pastor at Germain Street United Baptist Church and a partner in Thera-Ped. You also may recognize him as one of the NDP candidates in the 2014 election, however he says it is the party who has changed, not him.
