Hampton Home Significantly Damaged By Fire

Crews from six fire departments battled a house fire on Acadia Crescent in Hampton early Tuesday.

Mike Raeburn, deputy chief of Hampton Fire Rescue, said the call came in around 1 a.m.

Raeburn said the family made it out of the home unharmed before they arrived on scene.

Crews from the Kennebecasis Valley, Nauwigewauk, Long Reach, Peninsula and Belleisle Valley also responded to the call.

Raeburn said the home suffered significant damage and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

Fire crews were on scene for about four hours, he said.
