An eight year study has determined carbon dioxide emissions are making the oceans more acidic and all sea life will be affected, not for the better.
When it comes to reducing pollution, things are changing but they are changing too slowly. So says health sciences professor Bruce Lanphear who wrote a report that links pollution with early death.
He says there is an opportunity in the next year or more to modernize the canadian enviornmental protection act.
Lanphear is disappointed with what’s happening in the U.S. with the Trump Administration rolling back regulations on environmental protection but he is encouraged, though, by the opposite direction that’s taking place in China.
