With the shocking resignations of two Progressive Conservative leaders in two different provinces this week the leader of the New Brunswick PCs has released a statement.
Blaine Higgs says he unequivocally condems harassment of any kind and calls it a universal problem. Higgs goes on to say it’s the culture that needs to change and that women and girls have a right to live and work free from fear of intimidation and violence.
Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown has stepped down after allegations of sexual misconduct and Nova Scotia PC leader Jamie Baillie has also resigned after allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
