A logging truck rolled over onto its side while going eastbound along Highway One last night shortly after 9:00. Traffic was backed up for several hours. The logging truck had passed Hammond River and was going down a hill on the approach towards Quispamsis when the rollover happened.
Over the weekend, a propane tank exploded in a trailer at the Crystal Beach Campground on the St. John River at Carter’s Point, sending a family of three to the hospital. A father and his daughter are being treated in the intensive care unit. The explosion caused a fire which destroyed the trailer. All three family members were inside when the explosion occurred.
