A jail guard who was arrested with nearly 28 grams of marijuana has pleaded not guilty to two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possessing the proceeds of crime.
72 additional grams of marijuana were also seized at 49-year-old Joel Dion Thomas’s home, along with cash. The pot was worth about $2,000.
His trial has been set for the summer. In the meantime, he has been released on conditions.
