A suggestion made by a man from Maces Bay man played a role in locating the shooter on June 4th in Moncton.
Andrew Sanojca made a Facebook comment asking the Codiac RCMP if turning on porchlights and outside lights would help in their search.
The RCMP have told Sanojca that his suggested helped the shooter be captured.
He tells us he was quite honoured that the RCMP took the time to go through the thousands of posts and find out who had said that.
In a quiet ceremony recently with his family, Sanojca recieved a plaque from the Mounties at RCMP headquarters in Fredericton.
