It’s believed we will finally see how the Trudeau Government plans to legalise marijuana next month. Legislation to legalise pot is expected to be introduced in the House of Commons during the week of April 10th.
Federal Health Minister Jane Philpott rejects the belief that marijuana is a gateway to harder drugs and says the government will be guided by science.
Philpott says its estimated 30 per cent of young people in Canada have used marijuana which is the highest in the world.
The provincial government looks upon medicinal and recreational marijuana as holding the potential to be drivers of economic growth.
