Five individuals and one team will join the Greater Saint John Sports Hall of Fame this weekend.
The Sports Hall of Fame has been honouring local athletes, coaches, teams and builders for the past 32 years.
Harness racer Gilles Barrieau, Paralympian Franklin Henderson, and world-class coach Sue Ellis-Loparco are joined by boxers Albert Roche and Tom Young.
Roche will be inducted posthumously. He played a significant role in the formation and development of the Saint John Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Club.
Young is a Canadian boxing champion.
The Flood Brothers rowing team, Brian and Henry Flood, will also be inducted. Henry died in 2013.
The banquet takes place at the Lily Lake Pavillion on Saturday.
