Local organizations benefit from ‘Smile Cookie’ campaign

Several organizations throughout southern New Brunswick will benefit from the sale of cookies this week.

The annual Smile Cookie campaign by Tim Hortons launches on Monday and runs through May 5.

Cookies sold in Saint John, Grand Bay-Westfield and Hampton will benefit the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation and the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.

Sales in Quispamsis and Rothesay will go toward Operation Feed SJ, while cookies sold in Sussex will support the Little Jackie Fund.

Last year’s Smile Cookie campaign raised a record $19.7 million nationwide.
