With new Federal legislation to make marijuana legal next year comes a host of changes.
Many are upset that people convicted of pot possession prior to legalization will not be pardoned.
Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long says like the Parliamentary secretary Bill Blair said it’s still a work in progress and they are still working things out.
He says they want to protect kids and everyone on the road and in the past impaired driving related to alcohol but that’s going to change now.
Some have concerns about reasonable suspicions not being required anymore before doing a breathalyzer test when it comes to impaired driving.
