Saint John-Rothesay Liberal candidate Wayne Long is not surprised by Justin Trudeau’s comment about the Energy East pipeline.
Long tells us the Liberal party supports the responsible and safe construction of pipelines.
He says the approach to pipelines by the Harper government has been flawed. He says they don’t consult communities.
He adds if anyone thinks the way to build a pipeline is to plow it through then they are sadly mistaken.
In chatting with local residents, Long tells us people are not bringing us concerns about the Energy East pipeline.
