Long term care in the province is in a state of crisis according to the Conservative M-L-A for Moncton Northwest Ernie Steeves.
He read a letter in the Legislature from a long term care worker who wrote nursing home residents are allocated 3.1 hours of one on one care each day but hardly ever get that much.
According to the letter Steeves read, there’s hardly enough time to brush their teeth or comb their hair and they may not even get their once a week bath.
