Maestro In The Maritimes returns to 97.3 The Wave

Backbones will be sliding again in Saint John as Maestro Fresh Wes dets ready to conduct thangs on Friday nights!

After a successful run of shows from 2021-22, Saint John’s #1 Friday night show will make it’s triumphant return starting February 27th and run on the last Friday of every month from 7-11pm. The revival brings four hours of hip-hop, rap, reggae, and dancehall curated by the Godfather of Canadian hip-hop himself.

Maestro Fresh Wes will continue to share great stories from the past and keep you up to date on what’s going on through his career like performing at the Junos, starring in new TV shows and movies, and even getting his own stamp! You’ll also hear great interviews with some of music’s biggest names.

On Friday, February 27th’s show, Maestro Fresh Wes will be chatting with Canada’s hip-hop ambassador and Canada’s Got Talent judge, Kardinal Offishall, as well a chat with Coach Rob Spon of the Port City Power about the return of basketball to Saint John.

Maestro Fresh Wes joined Wake Up With Dan and Nesta to share the exciting news!
