A 44 year old man is under arrest after a stabbing on Princess Street early this morning. A 29 year old man was taken to hospital to be treated and Major Crime is continuing its investigation with a number of witnesses to talk to.
One person suffered minor injuries after a fire in an apartment at 84 Kennedy Street. Firefighters could see flames and smoke coming from a bedroom but managed to prevent the blaze from spreading. All the tenants were able to return to their apartments.
