A Saint John company reached a deal during an appearance on the Dragons’ Den which was aired last night.
Jim Treliving of Boston Pizza bought a 20 per cent share of the business for $100,000.
Millennia Tea is operated by Tracy and Rory Bell. Tracy tells us the tea she and her husband produces is done differently so it retains more antioxidents.
She says it was nerve wracking to appear before the Dragons with the lights and all then cameras but describes it as a good experience.
Millennia Tea was named the best new product for innovation at the World Tea Expo last June, the largest tea event in the world for high end teas.
