Missing Man Found Dead; Death Ruled A Homicide

Police say they have recovered the body of a missing Minto man and ruled his death a homicide.

Brandon Donelan, 27, was reported missing to the police on January 30.

He was last seen on Red Bank Drive in the community of Redbank three days earlier.

Mounties said they located a body in the woods off a snowmobile trail between Minto and Chipman on March 31. The individual has since been identified as Donelan.

Police said they searched a home on Wasson Road in Newcastle Creek as part of the ongoing investigation.

A woman was arrested on an unrelated matter and later released with a future court date, they said.

Mounties are asking anyone who may have information to contact the Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-7267 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
