Mixed feelings at Harbour Station as players from the Sea Dogs clean out their lockers a lot earlier than last year.
The team missed the playoffs this year after winning the President’s Cup last year.
Defenceman Alex Girard was traded from Rimouski and just finished his first year with the team and he tells us he had a pretty good season.
“Last year I didn’t get any points in 46 games and this year, Saint John gave me my shot and I owe them a lot” says Girard.

Right winger Cole Reginato is from Cape Breton and one of the over-age players moving on next year, likely to university hockey.
After two and half years with the Dogs, Reginato says it pretty sad to be leaving the team.
“It was a great experience and it’s a great town here, I’m going to miss it” Reginato said.

Centre Matt Green hails from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia and while he had a good start to the season, he suffered a concussion in January after an open ice hit and hasn’t played since.
“I had a little bit of trouble with some of the testing to be cleared to play. I’ve been feeling fine so I’m getting a lot better” Green said.
