Moncton Teacher Found Guilty Of Sex Charges

After several hours of deliberation, a jury has found a Moncton teacher guilty of several sex related charges.

43 year old William MacGillivray was found guilty of sexual exploitation, child luring and obstructing a police officer.

The incidents involved a former student who was 17 years old at the time, and occurred between March and November of 2013.

MacGillivray is a teacher at Harrison Trimble High School.

He will remain in custody until his sentencing on May 21.
