No one wants to welcome baseball this year more than snow-weary New Brunswickers.
The Saint John and Lancaster Little Leagues are hosting the 2015 Canadian Little League Intermediate Baseball Tournament in July at Memorial Park.
The winner represents Canada at the World Intermediate Championships in California in August.
The organizers believe the tourney will provide national exposure to Saint John and be a welcome economic boost to the city with over a hundred players, coaches, and family members participating in the tournament.
Five provinces will compete against the New Brunswick Provincial Team from July 24th to the 30th.
