The East Coast Games, Atlantic Canada’s largest annual multi-sport games, are back in Saint John for a 3rd consecutive year in late June. The 2017 Games will see nearly 1,800 athletes participating in more than 12 sports including rugby, basketball, softball, ultimate Frisbee, track & field and more. The economic impact of the Games is estimated at more than half a million dollars.

March Madness is down to the final four with South Carolina and Gonzaga making their first appearances. Oregon hasn’t been there since 1939 but North Carolina has 19 times before. North Carolina eliminated Kentucky 75-73 while South Carolina downed Florida 77-70.
