In the NFL, The New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders played in Mexico City with Tom Brady throwing for 339 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 33-8 win over Oakland to improve to 8 and 2….Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles improved to 9 and 1 with a 37-9 win over Dallas. Eagle quarterback Carson Wentz threw for two touchdowns and three 2 point conversions after Philadelphia lost kicker Luke Elliott to a head injury……In a battle of division leaders, Minnesota beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-7 to improve to 8 and 2. In other play, it was Tampa Bay 30 Miami 20…..Houston 31 Arizona 21….New York Giants 12 Kansas City 9 (OT)……Jacksonville 19 Cleveland 7……Detroit 27 Chicago 24…..Baltimore 23 Green Bay 0…..Washington 31 New Orleans 24 (OT)……Los Angeles Chargers 54 Buffalo 24 and Cincinnati 20 Denver 17.

In the CFL, it’ll be Toronto against Calgary for the Grey Cup with the Argonauts beating Saskatchewan 25-21 and the Stampeders downing Edmonton 32-28.

In the “Q”, the Charlottetown Islanders scored three goals in the first period en route to a 6-2 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs.

In the NHL, Henrick Lundqvist stopped 20 shots for his 63rd career shutout as the Rangers blanked Ottawa 3-0….Vegas improved to 12-6 and 1 after a 4-2 win over Los Angeles……Elsewhere, it was Colorado 4 Detroit 3 in overtime…..Carolina 4 NY Islanders 2 and Anaheim 3 Florida 2.

In the NBA, DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 100-91. Elsewhere, it was Indiana 120 Miami 95……Golden State 118 Brooklyn 111……Detroit 100 Minnesota 97…..Phoenix 113 Chicago 105 and the Los Angeles Lakers 127 Denver 109.
