More Opposition Attacks On Cabinet Minister’s Campground

SHEDIAC – Provincial Health Minister Victor Boudreau’s proposed campground at Shediac continues to be the focus of opposition attacks in the Legislature.

Conservative leader Blaine Higgs says according to the Environment Department, there’s a walking trail in violation of the Clean Environment Act.

Local Government Minister Serge Rouselle says the Conservatives should know all about that since it happened on their watch. The permit was issued on August 15 of 2014 more than a month before the Liberals won the provincial election and the landowner was the Anglican Parish of Shediac.

Portland-Simonds M-L-A Trevor Holder questioned whether Premier Brian Gallant had done legal work for the campground. The Premier says he did not because he’s a non-practicing lawyer.
