Murder Trial To Go To Jury Tomorrow

The defense announcing to the jury at the second degree murder trial of Fred Cormier Junior it will not be presenting any evidence.

The last piece of evidence heard by the jury was Cormier’s videotaped statement he gave to police shortly after his arrest last May.

Cormier is charged in the stabbing death of 23 year old Spencer Eldridge on Lancaster Street.

The jury will hear closing arguments from both the prosecution and defense tomorrow morning followed by the judge’s instructions. After that, deliberations on a verdict will begin.
