Since late last year, drivers in New Brunswick have been enjoying gas prices below a loonie per litre.
But that is expected to change next week according to a senior petroleum analyst.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com believes another increase is coming as producers switch from winter to summer-blend gasoline.
‘We are likely to see one more, maybe next week by three cents per litre. If you can find a couple of jerry cans, you may save yourself a few bucks by filling up when you can,” he notes.
Currently the maximum price for gasoline in the province is 99.9 cents per litre with an average retail price of about 97 cents.
