New Brunswickers building a new home could get up to $10,000 in incentives for making it energy efficient during construction.
NB Power has launched the New Home Energy Savings Program in which the homebuyer or the builder gets custom recommendations on building plans.
There are three levels for new homes and the efficiency and incentives are higher with each one.
A net zero home represents the highest level and would get the biggest incentive.
