Over 30, 000 NB Power customers remain in the dark across the province after last week’s ice storm. Today is day 6 without electricity and heat for thousands of them. Over 3100 of them are in the Greater Moncton area, and over 4200 in Kent County. The others are spread throughout the province.
Warming centres and emergency shelters remain open for those in need.

NB Power is also asking residents without power to unplug electrical items. The Canadian Red Cross has also been offering assistance to all of those in need.
