NB Power is saying it has had a pretty good year so far. In it’s first quarter results it is reporting net earnings of $23 million and $14 million in debt reduction.
Among its operational highlights, New Brunswickers participated in an on-line survey for the Integrated Resource Plan, the utility and a subsdiary TransAlta Inc. reached an agreement to add 17.25 megawatts of wind generating capacity at the West Hills site.
The big highlight was the five-year renewal for the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station’s operating license.
