NBCC Mourns Loss Of Crash Victims

New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) has confirmed four of their students were involved in last weekend’s fatal crash near Moncton.

Three men were killed and two others survived after a vehicle left the Trans-Canada Highway and rolled late Sunday afternoon.

Police have said all five men were international students attending post-secondary education in Saint John.

In a statement, NBCC president Mary Butler said students and staff are mourning together during this difficult time.

“As a college community, we grieve the loss of three students and our hearts go out to the two survivors,” wrote Butler.

“We think especially of the victims’ families and friends so far from their loved ones.”

Additional counselling support is being provided for students and employees at the college, Butler said.
