The provincial government is going to be funnelling almost a billion dollars in jobs, education, training and other priorities over the next three years through the new Education and New Economy Fund.
Premier Brian Gallant will be the minister responsible for this fund and he says they will be investing more in education than ever before in the history of province and that in this fiscal year the province will invest at least $261-million to support students, entrepreneurs, businesses, scientists and New Brunswickers.
Gallant had announced this fund would be created during his state of the province address at the beginning of this year.
