Budget deliberations are always a tough time around the council horseshoe – and common councillor Susan Fullerton, for one, is making it clear she doesn’t’ want to be given any documents by city staff at the last minute and expected to make decisions.
Fullerton says there’s a difference between things that are important and those that are urgent – and before almost every meeting, she feels there’s something added to the agenda at the last minute.
The councillor begged city staff to give councillors adequate notice in the future.
