Grand Bay-Westfield Town Council has passed its 2018 budget with the tax rate remaining at $1.37 where it has stayed since 2007. The sewerage user fee will stay the same next year as well.
The tax base went up in the town and spending will be over $27 thousand higher next year.
The cost of policing the town by the RCMP will increase in 2018 by $23 hundred to just over $678 thousand.
