It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jean Eisner of Hampton, cherished wife of Donald Eisner, announce her passing which occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 30, 1940 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Alva and Gladys (Lobb) Parks.
Prior to retiring, Jean was employed with Angus Miller Insurance Limited.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tony Eisner (Etta), Kimberley McDermott (John) and Andrew Eisner (Sandy); brother-in-law, John Eisner (Susan); sisters-in-law, Brenda Whitaker (David) and Krista Trask and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Reuel Parks, Gregory Parks, Shirley Gaudet, Lois McDonough, Alva Stackhouse, Donald Parks, Maureen Porter and infant brother, Richard Parks; as well as her sister-in-law, Betty Reid.
Jean’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of 3BNorth and 5BSouth at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their exceptional care and professionalism.
In keeping with Jean’s wishes, all services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
