Kerry John Nutter

July 28, 1966  –  February 20, 2026

It is with profound sadness that the family of Kerry John Nutter announces his passing on Friday, February 20th, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Saint John NB, on July 28th, 1966, Kerry was the beloved son of the late John Thomas Nutter and Beverly Alice (Robinson) Nutter.

Kerry will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Mary Beth Taylor-Nutter, of Welsford, his children Matthew (Jenna) Nutter, of Musquash, Ashley (Luke) Nutter, of Saint John, Christopher (Meggan) Boucher, of Hampton, and Carrie Boucher, of Saint John, four grandchildren; Kayce Nutter, Cooper Boucher, Maren Boucher, and Finn Boucher, two brothers; Stephen (Carol Ann) Nutter, of Welsford, Christopher (Tara) Nutter, of Fredericton, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and one special uncle who has always been by his side, Jim (Diane) Nutter.

Kerry dedicated over 41 years to his career, as a Long-Haul trucker, a role he took immense pride in. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and countless miles collecting stories, friendships, and memories along the way.

Nothing brought Kerry more peace than the rumble of his Harley and a long stretch of open highway. The open road was his happy place, and the motorcycle community became an extended family.

Above all else, Kerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, whether enjoying a good meal, telling stories, or simply sitting together and enjoying the moment.

Kerry will be remembered for his quick wit and the unmistakable sound of his laughter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. (506-634-1701). A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2026, at Castle Funeral Home from 4:30pm-9:00pm. A celebration of Kerry’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at 1:00pm at his garage (611 Eagle Rock Rd, Welsford, NB). For those who wish to make donations in Kerry’s memory, they may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Bikers Against Child Abuse. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.ca.

Kerry’s favourite colour was blue so if everyone could wear something blue and jeans, it would be greatly appreciated by the family.
